The Heart Behind The Whisk

Growing up in the hospitality industry, Raquel "Kelly" Bloom knew early on that she had a passion for food. She started her career working in her grandparents' restaurants and learned every job from dish pit to management. Through her work and life experience came the idea of Kelly's Cookery.

Kelly's passion for creating meals that nourish your body became the concept for her fast-casual restaurant. Seeing how food-related health issue are a problem in her community, she wanted to do something that could help support those who needed food options that were affordable, convenient, and tasty.

 

Kelly's Cookery is just one of the many entrepreneurial ideas Kelly has. She strongly believes in supporting her community in any way possible. Through sourcing ingredients from local farms to mentoring teens in the community, she's making changes in the food scene of Perry County.​​
